This blog is clea-yah
The hard work of transferring all my data to wordpress, although seemingly impossible, has been accomplished. The next thing on the agenda is to get a custom template up (although I like this one, it just doesn't feel quite right). Following that it's on to pimping my blog, as the kids say, to add my del.icio.us tags, knitting plugins, gallery, and the ever important what I'm reading, what I'm listening to and what mood I'm in (that one might actually be useful). Perhaps someday, I'll go through and fix the dateless posts that are marked as nov 99, and, if I'm feeling motivated, categorize all 719 posts for the easier searching and web stalking.I'll need to get that captchya thing up in too. I'm still getting all this comment moderation stuff in order, so if your comment doesn't show up immediately wait a bit for me to approve it. fuck a bunch of comment spam. COMMENT SPAMMERS CAN SUCK IT.
Special thanks and much love goes to my dearest fiancee who forced my data into submission and helped me get all of my old data (including comments, which are still transferring) to the new site.
Oh, and I got this absolutely lovely purple alpaca and charcoal grey alpaca yarn for some felted slippers for my gramma... I can't wait to get it on my needles! On a partially related note, the local yarn store in my neighborhood has totally redeemed itself. Everytime I've gone in there in the recent past, they've been incredibly attentive, helpful, and quite shockingly pleasant. Go you guys - I've bought more from you in the last month than I had in the last year.

Thank you for having me to Christmas! It was a privilege to share your tradition, and, in a less generic statement, it was also a lot of fun. It was my pleasure to help with Christmas dinner; since that’s a tradition at my parents’ also, it was nicely familiar.
