Be back in a few…

Today, I'll be setting out for a bit of a road trip to New York City and won't be back until Wednesday. My friend Brandon and his girlfriend Kesha needed to get there, and I need to get hell out of dodge. Unfortunately, Tom has school and can't go, so I'll certainly be missing him. I'll have my cell phone so I won't be completely out of touch, but hopefully a little change of longitude will do me good.

Would you just shut the hell up?

I am so... sick and tired... of hearing about gay marriage. And it completely boggles the mind that the moral right actually think they have a valid argument! Fucking justice Scalia and his asshole comments... that is one guy that really needs a bullet in the head. Him and W., just line 'em up and bring out the squad... old school... like they do in Texas....


Look... This whole gay marriage thing is plain and simple... No matter what your religious beliefs are, marriage and marital status are legal issues. You have to obtain a license to get married. Your marital status factors in how you do your taxes. You have to go to court to get divorced. Marriage, albeit a religious institution, is also a legal institution. Being such, the constitution clearly states that you cannot impose religion upon it and it also has that little thing about equal protection under the law... Therefore, gay marriage is valid under the constitution and to discriminate, based on sex, is as unjust as discriminating on color...


If your church or religious institution doesn't want to have gay marriage, or recognize gay marriages, then that's just fine. You can do that. That's fine. You and your asshole friends can go hole yourself up in church and tell yourself that gay people are ruining society, whatever.. your call. But you can't write that into law... because it's unconstitutional. And don't worry.. just because gay people are getting married doesn't mean that people are going to start marrying animals or be polygamists, or more incestuous then they already are. That's assinine. You know it. I know it. The American people know it. So just shutup and stop making the Americans look like a bunch of 'ignert' assholes. The world already hates us enough.
